The main focus of our integration groups is on speaking. You will develop a working vocabulary and increasing fluency while enjoying lively interaction with your trainer and the other participants. Through working in pairs, groups and individually, with a variety of communicative exercises and a motivating class atmosphere, we help transform you into a German speaker. A variety of daily life situations find their way into the discussion to smooth your integration in Basel.

German Intensive courses are suitable for people who can devote themselves to learning the language for 1 to 6 months. Every morning you have lessons in a group of 4 to a maximum of 10 participants. In the afternoons you learn together with your colleagues or in self-study or you can do inlingua online learning exercises.
In 8 weeks you complete a CEFR level, whether it is A1, A2, B1 or a higher level. If you live in Basel-Stadt, you can redeem the voucher from the canton of Basel-Stadt during the first intensive course and attend the course for free.

The inlingua semi-intensive courses, which take place twice a week in the morning, have recently been attended by mothers, but also by fathers, music students, computer scientists, entrepreneurs, journalists, artists, world travelers, and part-time workers.
In these small groups, which can have 4 to a maximum of 8 participants, you practise a lot of talking. Every 20 weeks you check out half a CEFR level, whether it’s A1, A2, B1 or any other level.

In our international certificate courses, you will familiarise yourself with all parts of the exam and you will practice the strategies required to achieve the best results. In addition, you will learn the most important expressions, which can be used effectively in the speaking and writing part of the exam. Regular reading and listening exercises will simulate real exam situations. The use of authentic exercises will prepare you fully for the exam.
